丹尼維勒納夫執導的《沙丘：第二部》終於在稍早之前舉行了全球首映，而媒體也對於這部延續 2021 年首部《沙丘》電影的最新續集給出了極高的讚賞。
無論是眾星雲集的卡司陣容、劃世代的視覺特效等，都成為了本片受到好評的原因，甚至被稱為擁有能與《魔戒二部曲：雙城奇謀》並駕齊驅的打鬥場面。

《沙丘：第二部》延續了首部《沙丘》，講述了保羅崔迪亞正式開始與費曼人結盟，聯手對抗哈肯南帝國，同時位他死去的父親復仇，除了提摩西夏勒梅之外，其他在這部續集中回歸演出的演員陣容還包含了千黛雅、蕾貝卡佛格森、喬許布洛林、戴夫巴弟斯塔、史戴倫史柯斯嘉、夏綠蒂蘭普琳以及哈維爾巴登。
《沙丘：第二部》全新加入的演員陣容則有奧斯汀巴特勒、佛蘿倫絲普伊、克里斯多夫華肯，以及蕾雅瑟杜；稍早，安雅泰勒喬伊也證實會在電影中演出，角色目前保密。
