查克史奈德最新科幻力作《反叛之月—第一部：火之女》有關的反應已經在最近正式解禁，目前獲得了相當兩極的評價，像是有不少媒體批評了本片在演出和動畫上的問題，但也有人讚賞《反叛之月》的娛樂性遠高於近幾年推出的《星際大戰》系列電影。

其他評論也將《反叛之月》拿來與《魔戒》、《七武士》以及《神鬼戰士》相比，但也有不少人希望能夠推出一部加長的 R 級導演版，同時改善目前版本的許多問題。

雖然這部電影整體來說讓我享受其中，我得承認膨脹的片長確實是個問題，尤其是第一章，花了太長的時間才站穩腳步。此外，使用過度的慢動作最終也損害了動作場面，失去了一些樂趣。整體來說，我確實相當享受《反叛之月》，也相當好奇第二部將會如何收尾。」

「《反叛之月》原本應該要符合我對於史詩敘事的偏好，但最終卻讓我感到脫節。查克史奈德粗糙的執行方式讓一些最基本的劇情也顯得令人煩躁，科幻的部分也充斥著平淡的慢動作以及呆板的角色。」
某位參與《反叛之月》 CCXP 試映的觀眾將本片的動作場面拿來與查克史奈德版的《正義聯盟》相比，表示其風格結合了《神鬼戰士》、《星際大戰》以及《正義聯盟》。然而，這位觀眾也指出了這部院線版本擁有著過快的節奏，同時還過度仰賴旁白。
《反叛之月—第一部：火之女》將會在 12 月 21 日上線，至於下集《反叛之月—第二部：烙印之人》預計於 2024 年 4 月 19 日推出。
