由《異獸禁區》、《星際大戰外傳：俠盜一號》導演蓋瑞斯愛德華執導的原創科幻電影《A.I.創世者》，稍早正式公開了首波評價，約翰大衛華盛頓在片中飾演了一位名為約書亞的士兵，奉命去摧毀已經成功研發出毀滅性武器的 AI「創世者」，然而，約書亞很快就發現這個武器其實是一個孩子。
